Adidas Unveils New Designs in First Fully Virtual Reveal Event
Adidas took product launches to the next level with its first fully virtual reveal event. Visitors were immersed in a 20-minute VR experience, greeted by executives, and got an up-close look at the newest designs. The highlight? A grand stadium style show leading up to the dramatic unveiling of the official World Cup match ball.

Architecture That Moves With The Show
The event space was designed to feel like a living, breathing stadium. Massive shades opened and closed in sync with the show’s flow, while a moving tribune enhanced the spectacle. The entire setup, from dynamically shifting lamellae to an adjustable polygon floor, was built for maximum immersion and performance.
My Tasks involved creating the moving architecture. It is creaded in Houdini, color coded and has also vertex colors for the lamellaes. With this setup i could open and close the lamellaes and move and rotate elements of the Dome via shader.
The floor consists of thousands of elements that are forming a pattern and also could move up and down via shader using noise or predefined textures.
Another part was the shading of the products and porting everything from the final stadion scene into a mobile friendly Quest 2 version at the end.

The lamellae for the dome were procedurally modeled in Houdini and could be controlled via shader.
The floor is build out of dynamically adjustable polygons that can be transformed via shader to maintain performance and control.
